Guido Gazzilli was born in Rome in 1983.
He builds a body of work centered on identity and everyday scenes, through personal and subjective narratives.
He creates a universe in which he blends human and animal figures with natural elements and fragments of landscapes. He portrays people and places, focusing on the relationship between humans, nature, and the city, drawing inspiration from poetry and music with nostalgic references.
His works have been published in various books including:

He works for international magazines and newspapers. He has participated in festivals, including Les Rencontres D’Arles, and exhibited his work in Italy and abroad.He won international awards and participated in artist residencies.
He teaches at IED and he's represented by the Contrasto agency.
He has worked as an assistant to Paolo Pellegrin (Magnum Photos).
He lives and works between Rome and the countryside.
